Lia Kali crowned at home with the presentation of ‘Kaelis’ at Bogatell for La Mercè

The singer from Carmel delivered a spectacular live show on Friday before tens of thousands of spectators, including the live premiere of her new single “En la cuerda floja”
After selling out Razzmatazz for two consecutive nights in spring and captivating the Cruïlla audience this past July, the Kaelis tour stopped in Barcelona for the last time this year
Lia Kali takes home another great triumph and will close the first year of her new album tour with nearly 40 shows and epic nights at major festivals across Spain and international capitals such as Mexico City, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Miami, London, Berlin, Hamburg, and Paris

With a slight delay from the scheduled time and Bogatell beach packed to the brim after performances by Mushka and Rigoberta Bandini, Lia Kali took to the biggest stage of La Mercè festivities, backed by her four-piece band and eager to make her hometown audience vibrate. From the very first chords of “La noche”, an intro piece that throughout the tour has led into two of the new album’s hits, “Turbulencias” and “Con tu collar”, the atmosphere was instantly special, with an enthusiastic crowd ready to sing along to every track by the Carmel-born artist.
At Bogatell, Lia Kali delivered an unique show, with an extended setlist and a dance crew that, together with the visuals, completed the night. For just over 90 minutes, Barcelona’s own voice crafted a repertoire that combined classics from her debut album ‘Contra Todo Pronóstico’ and the hits from ‘Kaelis’, with unique highlights such as the live premiere of her latest single “En la cuerda floja” (released only hours earlier on digital platforms) and the presence of special guests, including Elane on the ever-powerful generational anthem “Falso”. Queralt Lahoz also made a surprise appearance, flying straight from her show at Plaça de la Catedral to the beach to perform their shared track “Brindo por los míos”, just before closing the night with a brilliant performance of the final two songs of the set, “Cantaré” and “Renacer”, which delighted the audience. Here’s to Barcelona (from Carmel to Poblenou), here’s to our people, here’s to Lia Kali.
